Standard posting guidelines
When using our Facebook page, we have some guidelines for creating a better online community.
- Treat others as you would like to be treated. Be polite, even if you disagree. Abusive language, aggression and bullying are not allowed (whether you are speaking to other users or Homes Plus). Distressing content is also not allowed.
- We will try to help you with any queries, but we will never ask you to post identifying information publicly. If required, we will ask you to send us a private message (using Facebook’s messaging service).
- To safeguard the privacy of individuals, we will remove any personal identification information from our public timeline.
- We ask all users to keep comments relevant to the original topic. Off-topic comments may be removed so we can keep discussions focused for other users. For example, if your comment is a repair request, posting within another user’s update may mean it is missed.
- We are happy for you to share your opinions on our service but ask that any criticism remains factual and constructive and focused on a subject we can act on or respond to.
- Threatening, abusive, or obscene content with be removed along with content that is overtly religious or politically biased which is intended to incite others.
- Comments subject to legal issues (slander, defamation, contempt of court, ongoing legal proceedings) or publicising / encouraging / endorsing illegal activity will be removed.
- Repeated duplicate postings (spam) by the same user or groups will be removed, along with any third-party adverts/website links.
- If your post contains false or unverified claims, we ask you to allow us to correct these. If you continue to post false claims, these will be removed.
- Homes Plus retains the right to remove content posted to Facebook or block users from posting to this page for any other reason deemed necessary to create a helpful and safe community.
All content must also comply with Facebook’s policies.
