With the completion of six new homes for affordable rent in Shifnal, we’re breathing fresh life into the heart of this popular Shropshire market town.
Located on the site of a disused pub, Beehive Court has already transformed the appearance of the area and will now help to meet high demand for affordable housing in the town.
The old Beehive pub had stood empty for several years, becoming something of an eyesore and attracting anti-social behaviour. Now the site is set for a new lease of life, as the first residents prepare to move into their new homes.
Built with the backing of local councillors, the new homes have been designed to meet the latest environmental standards and support our commitment to providing affordable housing in local communities.
Les Clarke, our Executive director of housing and care said: “This project is a fantastic example of how good quality, affordable homes can change lives and transform neighbourhoods. I hope that the residents of Beehive Court will be very happy in their new homes.”
